I logged on to Yahoo/MSN IMs today and received tons of messages wishing me a “happy friendship day”. I sat down to research the “day” and here’s what I found.

World Friendship Day is nine years old. It’s, I think, a good example of a meme that wouldn’t have spread if not for the Internet.

And, I’ll add in my contribution: Happy Friendship Day! 🙂
