I remembered to vote today. Although I’m indifferent to the whole election process, some people around me are very energetically enthusiastic, and they literally (hint… sms /hint) pushed me to the polling booth.
The process itself was very quick much to my surprise. I had to wait a bit before my turn came up, but it wasn’t the never-ending queues before goverment offices or sold-out movie theatres. In fact, I was in a swish-swish-swish forward moving queue, thanks to electronic voting machines and brisk poll attenders. The whole process itself took less than a minute for me:
- Show the people my voters identity card.
- Get a black dye carefully applied on my left index finger.
- Vote!
Wohoo! 😉
